Authors come to the library

Alice O'GradyThe library and the youth library invite authors to visit the library throughout the year. The writers generally talk about their careers in writing or about specific aspects of their books. We then usually provide the opportunity for program attendees to purchase materials created by the authors, and then the authors sign them. We serve refreshments at all our author events--from cookies and punch, to catered affairs with exotic dishes.

All our events are free and open to the public.
