Make a Donation
Countless individuals and community-service groups help our library to maintain an up-to-date collection of books, books-on-tape, and movies. If you'd like to help support the library too, here are three ways:
Make a financial contribution to the library. You can give an undesignated gift, or you can give a memorial gift of $25 or more in honor of a loved one or beloved animal companion. With memorial gifts, we'll buy a book, cassette, CD or DVD and place in it a name plate memorializing your loved one. We'll also place a note in that item's catalog record, indicating the donation. You can designate a subject for the purchase (for example, if your loved one was a gardener, you can request we purchase a book about gardening.)
Donate gently-used books, videos, DVDs, CDs, or cassettes to the library. If the item is up-to-date and in excellent condition, and we think our patrons would benefit from it, we'll add it to our collection (Here's our non-monetary gift policy). Otherwise, we'll add the item to our Friends of Boerne Public Library book sale. The money from the book sales comes back to the library, so either way, the community will benefit from your contribution!
Donate a new book or DVD from our Wish List on Amazon.com. To see our Wish List, go to Amazon, scroll down to "Gifts and Registries," and click "Wish List." In the search box labeled "Find a Wish List" (at the right of your screen) type boerne public library and click "Go."
