Friends of the Boerne Public Library

Who Are the Friends?
The Friends of the Boerne Public Library is a nonprofit organization designed to support our library by funding new equipment, supplies, public programs and special projects that are not covered by other funding sources. The Friends group also awards a scholarship each year to a graduating Boerne High School student

Book Sales
Most Kendallians already know the Friends of Boerne Public Library because of their huge Annual Book Sale, held at the Kendall County Fairgrounds each March. The sale, featuring thousands of books, videos, magazines, CDs, cassettes and records, attracts buyers from all over Texas.
The Friends also hold several "mini sales" throughout the year.

Become a Friend
If you believe in the value of your public library and would like to help fulfill its mission, join the Friends! As a member, you may choose just how active you want to be in the organization. Many of the Friends volunteer at the library in various capacities, and they find that organizing and running the book sales is a lot of fun!

Our Friends group is a great way to meet people!

The annual dues for individual membership are $10, or a one-time fee of $100 for a lifetime membership. Annual membership for a business or civic organization is $25 a year. Ready to join? You can call the library at (830) 249-3053, email us, or come by:
